Ceramic Bootcamp: two day workshop

Build a foundation in ceramics with this two-day beginner workshop. Designed for those just starting out in ceramics, this class builds the foundational skills and confidence needed to join a 24hr Pottery studio and begin making independently.

Across two days, students will gain hands-on experience in:
‍

• Wheel throwing
• Trimming and carving leather-hard pieces
• Adding handles and decorative details
• Hand-building fundamentals
• Glazing, underglazes, and resist techniques
• Working with different clay bodies and glaze options
  ‍

At the end of day two, you’ll choose from a selection of studio glaze colors for any unfinished pieces. We’ll handle the glazing and firing, and your finished pieces will be ready for pickup three weeks after class.
