Chachkies Altar

Learn the fundamentals of hand-building while creating a custom altar for the objects that matter to you. We encourage you to bring in your chachkies to help plan and design their little sanctuary. You’ll develop a design inspired by the pieces you bring, then learn foundational slab-building techniques as you build your form. We’ll also explore underglaze decoration so you can add color and detail before your piece is fired.
