Beginner Wheel

Build a strong foundation in wheel throwing through this six-week beginner course. Each class focuses on core ceramic skills, including centering, shaping, trimming, handle-making, and glazing.

Students will create a variety of functional forms such as cups, bowls, mugs, spoon rests, and plant pots while learning how to work confidently with clay.
In the final week, students will glaze their pieces using a selection of studio glazes.

By the end of the course, you’ll have finished ceramic pieces and the foundational skills to continue growing in the studio.
